Cancellation and Refund Policy

1. Customer Cancellations

You may cancel a booking through your dashboard. Refund eligibility depends on timing:

  • More than 24 hours before your booking: Full refund to your original payment method
  • Less than 24 hours before your booking: No automatic refund. Contact the business directly to discuss options.

Note: Individual businesses may set their own cancellation windows (e.g., 48 hours). The specific policy is shown during booking.

2. How Refunds Work

Refunds are processed through Stripe and typically appear on your statement within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank.

3. Business Cancellations

If a business cancels your booking (e.g., due to bad weather or equipment issues), you will receive a full refund automatically. The business may also offer to reschedule at no extra cost.

4. Weather-Related Cancellations

Water sports are weather-dependent. If conditions are unsafe, the operator may cancel or postpone. In these cases, you will be offered either a full refund or a free reschedule.

5. No-Shows

If you do not show up for your booking without cancelling in advance, no refund will be issued.

6. Disputes

If you believe a refund was unfairly denied, contact us at info@splashcy.com and we will mediate between you and the business.

7. Platform Fees

splashcy.com charges a small service fee to businesses. This fee is not charged to customers. When a full refund is issued, you receive 100 percent of your payment back.
